Powertoy calculator windows 7

I love Powercalc and agree Microsoft should make the effort to include it in Windows 7. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and it works. I copied the three powercalc files from my XP SP3 system into a powercalc folder under programs files x86 , made the property settings above, disabled the program compatibility message, made a shortcut and I was good. Hooray, Powercalc is back only problem is that UAC is triggered on each load. Has anyone figured out a way of getting around this?

Ignore previous comment—wrong link! I would be interested in using this prog but all the above comments are VERY confusing to a non techie. Could you please rewrite a simple step by step guide so that powercalc will work on my 64bitw7. Thanks a lot to all.

To extract the file, run the exe. Manu Thanks for the tip. I got powercalc on windows 7 the same simple way I did in vista- copy the powercalc.

Thank you all. Rather late in the day, but I find the executable runs fine in Win10 x64 anniversary edition without even using compatibility mode. Thanks for testing it out. Amidst a tangled web.

PowerToy Calc is a complete revision of the popular Windows calculator that includes many improvements and options, that should have already been included in the original application designed for Windows.

This tool can work in three different modes: numerical calculator that is basically the same as the original Windows calculator, with the exception that it includes an operation history , history mode where we can control all the work we have done with the calculator and a graphic mode , that will allow us to write complete operations so they are then solved or represented on a chart.

Furthermore, PowerToy Calc includes a complete length, temperature, weight and speed converter , which is sure to solve any problem quickly. Hadn't checked myself, all PowerToys are Vista-incompatible according to Microsoft. However, when I enter functions to be graphed, nothing happens!

I try to give a variable a value, and nothing! Even in slope-intercept form! And there is no help file. Any ideas? Rarst dave What exactly you are trying to plot?
