That seemed the obvious choice, but after searching online I found a few MTS forums warning not to change package names, but I suspect they were referring to more complex things like objects and meshes. The strange thing is, when I tried to find it myself through the main page on sims2. No custom content was downloaded from modthesims2 or anything it's expansion pack content only.
