One standout product from the initial lineup is the X, a slim inch laptop with a unique look. If you need the thinnest inch possible, or just love the look, the Samsung X is an impressive piece of hardware, but others will find better value elsewhere.
Less than 1 inch thick at its thinnest point, the Samsung X is incredibly slim, and is even lighter by a few ounces than the current inch MacBook. The chassis is a mix of glossy and matte black plastic, except for the lid, two-thirds of which is covered by a panel of red-tinted brushed aluminum. It's certainly a distinctive look, but if glossy black and metallic red doesn't float your boat, there's nothing you can do about it. The X is a one-size-fits-all fixed configuration.
The keyboard tray has a minimalist vibe, with no media control or quick launch buttons--just a basic two-button touch pad, fingerprint reader, and power button. The keyboard has the large, flat, widely spaced keys we prefer, similar to what you'll find on Apple and Sony laptops. Our music playback experience, however, was a bust. The stereo speakers, positioned above the keyboard, seemed especially tinny, even for a laptop. Perhaps the slim design left little room for heftier drivers.

Very bright. That's because the This notebook would work easily to give presentations for small groups, and the side-to-side viewing angles were generous. However, the x pixel resolution isn't terribly sharp compared with some other inch business machines with x displays. More troubling are the narrow vertical viewing angles on the XP; tilting the screen just a bit backward causes a marked shift in clarity.
Given that the XP has two tiny speakers above the keyboard, we were pleasantly surprised by the output. Generally speaking, the audio and video live up to the Samsung brand. Above the display is a 1. Our caller said we looked clear and that blurring was minimal when we waved an arm in front of the camera. At full-screen we looked grainy, but such is the case with most webcams. Audio in both directions was good, with only some tinniness, and sufficiently loud. Because the XP is thinner toward the front than other business notebooks usually are, some ports are placed on the back out of necessity, which some may find inconvenient.
All you'll find on the front lip of the system is a 7-in-1 memory card reader. Some may lament the lack of a FireWire port but we didn't miss it. What we do find issue with is that the ExpressCard slot is a little shallow; when we inserted a Sprint modem card it stuck out about a half inch more than we'd like, especially compared with the Sony VAIO Z series.
Like most business notebooks, Samsung offers a docking station for the XP that fits into a docking connector on the bottom of the system. The XP is certainly one of the speedier thin-and-light notebooks we've tested, starting with its refreshingly brisk boot time of 49 seconds. This is just like a e but instead it has TFT and a slighty different screen or like the X but with a camera etc.

How can you set up your melodies for user groups instead of the "default melodies"? Hi again folks, i've had this phone for a month or so now - still thinks it's really good and i wouldn't change my mind. It's everything you need from a phone and it's a lot cheaper than some. In answer to one question, yes it feels very robust like most samsungs - the flip top isn't floppy and it doesn't feel like it will fall apart. It is light, ye, but strong. Good phone, all necessary basic features and looks damn good.
Again, any qu's please e-mail me cya. Anyone can tell me if it feels robust? Another question: its 2-bands, and no speakerphone I don't care about camera , so isn't it a bit restricted in terms of functionality, in comparison with, say, Moto V?
